Beaumont Street roof

The first exciting event that happened this month was rather unfortunate! I woke up on the morning of the 2nd to the sound of loud rain. I opened the curtains and was quite surprised when it was inside my room! Thankfully, the college was very quick to respond, monitoring the situation and once it got too bad they moved me to a different room in college where I stayed for the rest of term.

Exams

It wouldn’t be June without the joy of exams! I had 8 in total, stretching from the 2nd to the 19th. Unfortunately, this makes my monthly blog post quite boring because for the majority of the month, I was either revising or recovering from revising. But my results turned out very well in the end and I’m happy I did my best!

Tillo

Not wanting to risk becoming bored by giving myself a single day off, I started work at a tech company called Tillo on the 22nd. I’m working with the data team for 4 weeks and then on the backend for a further 4 weeks. I’m really enjoying it so far and looking forward to getting stuck in with some good projects!

Worcester Ball

Finally, on the 26th, Worcester college hosted their Commemoration Ball! Grace and I had a wonderful time. The food and drink was amazing and the entertainment was brilliant. Circa Waves was the headlining act and they were fantastic to see in person!
